  1. Flash powder versus flash wool

    Have used Flash wool as a fuse in a Demon wand that shoots a flaming pieace of flash paper several feet. This has worked OK with gas lighter elements which seem to be unobtainable. The alternative is to ignite with a glow plug which is difficult to get the wool close enough to the element. So I have just tried flash powder instead of wool and this works perfectly as the powder actually falls easily down into the glow plug Yhe glow plug wuthstands the heat and force of the explosion better than a gas lighter element.
    At 84 I am not performing much these days and do not often use this wand, but for anyone who does I thouroughly recommend this product.
